Easily the best local cinema i've been in. A good selection of beers, soft drinks and snacks. The staff are always very friendly and polite. The seating is comfortable unlike most chain cinemas. Sound and picture quality is good as well. Only tip I can give you is to make sure you book as this place gets very busy.
A great little venue. Comfy seating, reasonably priced food and drink. A little pricey for the tickets, but if I lived locally I'd definitely join as a member and 'normal' films are are less. A fantastic night out 😊

Lovely home cooked food with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Ignore what it says on the menus about not being able to pay by card, you can. Will definitely be visiting again. I'm not normally one to take pictures of my food but I'll make an exception this time. The hangover hollandaise and 44 burger were lovely.
Nice atmosphere, plenty of seats , we only had hot drinks but the choice of food looked really interesting. The salads looked delish. I would definitely return and try the food. Only down side not a massive choice of sweets and the ones they had looked like the flapjack type which weren't covered and in close proximity to where people stand to order food and drinks.

Just stayed at the Talbot for two nights, and had dinner - the staff are brilliant, the food was amazing. Armando was on hand at all times I literally cannot fault the place. Bravo Armondo and Caroline
We dined at The Talbot Restaurant on Friday 3rs August, for evening meal, a table for two.... This has to be one of the very best dining out experiences I have ever had (and I'm 50, so I've had lots!) . The main restaurant is very attractive with its old stone walls and high lofty beamed ceiling. The tables are nicely spaced apart, not squashed together, so even when busy on a Friday night, we still felt private and not cramped. The service is exceptional, from the moment we arrived at the bar and sat in the lounge area for pre dinner drinks to select our courses, through to the main service. The menu is traditional with a good selection to suit most tastes..there's a good range of pasta dishes, meat fish and specials of the day different sauces and all described well. We really were impressed with the attentive service and the staff new exactly why they were doing, who had ordered what and timed the three courses perfectly. Our waitress was so friendly, polite and helpful. I had a fillet steak with sauce and my partner had swordfish We both felt this was definately one of the best meals we had ever had. We left feeling absolutely delighted at our dining experience and must congratulate Armondo, his wife and the staff at the Talbot on one of the most superb meals out we have ever had. I cannot wait to return. FIVE STARS
